So, make me write! As many requests, whatever you like, I don't expect you to review or even read, I just want to be cattle-prodded into writing. The original novel you always wanted! Complete insanity! Fanfic! ANYTHING FROM DRABBLES TO FULL-LENGTH I WILL TRY, THE NOT WRITING HURTS. Even poetry, damnit.
Fandoms baecka knows, if you want that -
Fruits Basket
Maria-sama ga Miteru
Naruto (kinda)
Bleach
Fullmetal Alchemist
...uh, I probably know more but I can't remember you can try me?

Sorry for the slooooow brain. Ahahaha, no wonder I'm writer'sblocked, I have a reading block, too.
I had the idea for one, but nobody's taken that meme recently, and I don't want to take my own suggestion. (Even if it is inspiring.)
"Five moments when Winry *almost* realized she was gay"
(Aka- five missed epiphanies)
I'd try to inspire original fic for you, but... I'm no good with original ideas. >.>
She looked at him for a long moment. He looked at her.
Winry cleared her throat. "Ed, could you move your hand?"
"Oh," Ed said, in a voice replete with horror, and extricated himself with as much dignity as he could muster, covered in shame.
That was awkward, Winry thought. I never really thought Edward of all people would go through puberty - well, obviously, but - and he's really skinny! I swear we need to feed him up more. No wonder he's so short.
It didn't seem like an abnormal reaction at the time. Honestly.
2. Winry has always treated every customer professionally, and with dignity, except when they have to go and get their automail broken like certain brothers she doesn't mention, and, well, Paninya. Just a bit.
There wasn't anything weird about a bit of girly teasing between friends, nor about Winry adjusting the screw high up on the thigh, the smooth join of metal to warm brown flesh, the marks where clothing cut in, and Paninya giggling, wriggling so that her automail jangled under Winry's paused, awkward hands. Nothing.
She wonders a little about what could have happened, but doesn't say, never says.
3. She has the distinct memory of Pinako keeping her up with a long anecdote about childbirth and grandad setting the house on fire with a cigar once and a great deal of general reproductive pain. Also ulcers.
The vague feeling that this wasn't the life she'd lead was kind of universally applicable, and, anyway, considering that Winry was now co-rearing a toddler anyway who made a /mess/ of her workroom any time he came /near/ it or /breathed/, you couldn't avoid it anyway.
4. Sciezka's hands always smelt of books, and paper, and old musty things at the very backs of libraries. There were little paper-cuts running up and down her small fingers, and ink on the pads. Winry had buried her nose in a book herself, for necessity's sake and occasional interest (anatomy and engineering and rehabilitation therapies, that else?) and the feel of it had always been so nice that she'd sometimes think of what Sciezka's hands might taste of, themselves.
Which was maybe just book-fetishism, anyway.
5. And OBVIOUSLY with this Winry was just concerned. Explaining at very great length why the florist's son shouldn't be introduced to Roze yet because what a life she'd had and she was still quite shy round people and what if she wasn't ready to try dating, really really, when you thought about it, and you shouldn't force a relationship on someone, you should wait for them to act and wouldn't it be weird going out with him anyway, she probably wouldn't want to be kissing someone or anything and really just even putting a young, sweet mother and romance in the same sentence together was wrong -
- she protested, perhaps, a little too much.
The lady doth protest too much. *giggle*
Pssibly, I'm being very presumptious in asking, and if so, I do apologise, but if you don't mind writing for a stranger, I'd be very happy and grateful to see your take on Kyouraku and Ukitake in their Academy days. I've always wondered about how they became Yamamotos's star pupils, how they were mentored by him and if they served under him at any time. Briefly, a few millennia of backstory, plz. :-)
And feel free to request something in return, if you'd like. I'm afraid a slow drabble is all that I can manage at the moment and I think Bleach is the only fandom we share, though, but I'll do my best.
(Ack, I forgot to mention that I know X-Men also, just...dodgily. Bits of 616-verse, mostly around Grant Morrison's run and X-Treme, some of the classic storylines, and movieverse. So I can read yours very happily, and have been doing so. [bracketwithinabracket to say that The Lady of Alkali Lake and Where Elephants Go were especially lovely and chilling)
Well, after they found out about his leather slave, the leverage was already there...no, um, I'd be delighted to have a go. Thank you for making me WORK.
Um, so. A slow drabble at any point would be lovely, and thank you very much for reciprocating. If X-Men, something with Sage or Domino maybe? and if Bleach you prefer to do, does Chizuru notice, um, recent events?
And thank you, I'm glad you liked those fics, they were interesting to write, because I wasn't sure which fandom they'd finally end up in.
At last, I've got to ask and absolutely no need to answer unless you want to: are you Swedish? 'Cause I am and your username is...
^^ Good writing makes me happy~
Um, I'm...wait a moment. My dad grew up in Belgrade as English but spoke Serbo-Croat, went to English boarding school and got kicked out and castrated sheep on LSD in Iona for a bit and then married a Swedish woman and lived in Sweden for nine years. And then got divorced leaving 1 child and married my mother and had me. And is on surprisingly good terms with ex/family/friends, speaks fluent Swedish, and goes up there for a month or so occasionally.
So - I get impromptu language lessons/drinking songs/swearwords/man-eating horses (SELMA LAGERLOEF FTW!) and so forth. I went to a crayfish party quite recently ^^
(Whereabouts from? And how come your English is so ultimate?)
Ahem. Drabbles are all started. To no-one's surprise, none is yet finished...
Your father castrated sheep? Hmm, I didn't know that sheep was castrated, but now that I think about it, that makes sense.
Crayfish parties are the best, with the funny hats and the paper lanterns and everybody changing partners in the shrubbery!
And thank you so much for complimenting my English -- I grew up in Stockholm, studied in Uppsala, then did my PhD with an Icelandic supervisor, which means we spoke English, after which I went to New Jersey for a couple of years and now I'm in Belgium. Not to mention reading all of that fanfic in English...
more like OT3, reallyYou are wonderful! Academy!Shunsui and Jyuushiro is currently a fic-within-a-fic-within-a-fic that needs the first layer finished. Bad me.
...apparently, yes. It makes them easier to manage. If you want more information than you ever wanted to know on the subject, there's always this.
You know, I noted the funny hats and the paper lanterns (they were crayfish-shaped!) but, unfortunately, there was no shrubbery, so my knowledge of crayfish culture is sadly incomplete.
Ah, right! That's really quite amazing - I don't think any of my foreign languages will ever be that good, and it's just not noticable that it's not a first language.
Yup, I now have a small and specialised Japanese vocabulary/grammar knowledge entirely from animeFanfic is educational! The reason this is late is that LJ inexplicably failed to notify me of this comment despite doing so with everything else. Or, at least, that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.
So we get Nanao/Shunsui/Ukitake because I HAVE TO TRY IT SOMEDAY. And it's oddly compelling especially on rereading bits of Bleach.
Any appearance of a certain ironically-named vice-captain of the Tenth on the side is PURELY COINCIDENTAL. (I think I need a twelve-step Matsumoto withdrawal course. Really.)
Thank you for, um, the sheer joy and nicitude of your reply. It's good stuff.
And a pleasure.
Any others? (I know HP, X-Men, ummm BtvS all enough to fic from them probably?)
Hmmm...you mind writing slash, then? I'm a fan of Hermione/Fleur. ^^;
I'm terrible at requests, aren't I? Is there...um...anything else?
....aaanyway, I'll be having a go, OK? I like Sirius/Lupin in a "hey read it it can be awesome" way and...yeah, have a soft spot. So, I'll see how it goes! Thanks for request!
